A.Chandrasekhar: Trivandrum, Kerala, India; 5 time Kerala State Award winner in Film/TV Criticism. Won Chalachitra Academy Fellowship twice. Journalist for 30 years. Penned 22 Film books. Began with AIR Trivandrum as casual reporter. Served as Asst. Prof@ IIMC, Kottayam, Sr.News Editor Amrita TV, Chief Subeditor Webdunia.com, Subeditor with Malayala Manorama, Editor Rashtra Deepika Cinema & Kannyaka. Edited IFFK 2002 Festival Book. Won the Kerala State Award for the best book on cinema in 2008; Special Jury Mention in 2016 and the State Award for the Best article in 2017.Won Film Critics award 4 times and ALA award for best book on cinema. Jury Member of Indian Panorama (Non Feature) for 53rd IFFI 2022;Member, Web Series Preview Committee, IFFI 2024,Juror of Malayalam films selection for IFFK 2015. Chaired the State TV writing Award committee 2017 and was Jury member in 2003, Currently Secretary of Kerala Film Critics Assn. & Padmarajan Trust. Wife:Ambili Principal RKD NSS HSS Sasthamangalam, Daughter: Dr.Aparna. Residing at TVM.
